I'm very upset when I talk or write in this language, so this is a challenge for me. So let's start!
In summer I was in Kazakhstan and today I want to tell you about the capital of Kazakhstan. Astana has been
the capital of Kazakhstan for 19 years. It's the Las Vegas on the grassland, because it has a lot of amazing buildings
and modern architecture with colorful lights. Everything is shiny in this city. It looks like Polish cities during Christmas,
except it does so all through the year. The skyscrapers are covered in giant screens.
The symbol of this city is Bayterek. Bayterek is a monument and observation tower.
It was designed by an English architect. It has been reported that the president of Kazakhstan once wanted to build
a giant dome over the capital in order to always keep it sunny at a moderate 24 degrees Celsius.
These photos are impressive! Have you seen some poorer and less modern areas there?
OdpowiedzUsuńYes, I was in Kazakhstan for one month, so I have seen some poorer places in Astana and other areas of this country. Next time I'll write more about Kazakhstan and life on the grassland.
